
I don't follow the rap-scene like I used to, but luckily the same names off my middle-school mix-tapes are still releasing stuff today, and some of it isn't half-bad.
Big Boi is still dropppin quality summer jams, and his most recent track has an especially epic bass line (turn up your speakers before you listen, believe me).

And various members of the Wu-Tang clan are still cooking up raw rhymes over ominous horn samples. A trio of everyone's favorite killer bees (Meth, Ghost, and Raekwon) just released some kind of album (a few songs and skits). Big Boi also teamed up with Gucci Mane last year on the stellar track "Shine Blockas". I'm stretching a bit here to relate this to the rest of the blog post, but lastly here's a Gucci mash-up that I quite enjoy...
